This one has potential, but it needs some correction in PP. I think it's the lens causing distortions that have fooled the eye into thinking it is level, when in fact all of the houses and the water is sliding off the image from right to left. There is a severe slope that can be seen by looking at the water and the houses in the distance. With this corrected it would be a nice shot, but I think you may lose the line of the flags on the left when trying to level it out.

I see David's point, but I really like the asymmetry through the frame here- it's a feature of the image. The eye catches the flags first, then the lower p art of the frame , which is skewed... but in a way that adds to the overall off-kitler mood to the image.

One if my favourite images of yours, Nigel !

I can see David's point too. But I think the point of this shot was to focus on the flags and the railings as lead ins, which work perfectly when first viewd

I see a superb image. Makes the eye put it all together like a reverse picture puzzle. The action filled flags and the offset shoreline - colors are pantone perfect. POV only available to a image maker who is willing to explore the dynamic. The itsy-bitsie bit of flag in top right left in rather than cropped out makes for contrary imaginative production. IMO, extremely Well done as is.

Thanks again all for the comments! It's a controversial one for sure ... Glad that in general it's been appreciated
