Reddish Egret

by AggieDad

Here is a close-up of a Reddish Egret, an egret found in the U.S. only along the the Texas Gulf Coast and the Florida coast. There are only about 2,000 pairs in the U.S.

The Reddish Egret has some pretty bizarre movements when hunting for food, and I will post a series from a feeding session later.
