nectar

Photo Information
Blackthorn is blooming everywhere.
Like with hawthorn, if you remove the petals, stamens and anthers you can place what's left between your lips and stick the very tip of your tongue in there. It is startlingly sweet and you will realise why insects find it irresistible!

that is a lovely shot, soft lighting but focus spot on. The Blackthorn has been very good this year, will be a good year for sloe Gin!

Just the gin will be fine, thank you.
