"If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive."

Beautiful. Cow parsley seems to be very prolific this year (well, in Dorset anyway....)
Best regards

Many thanks Nigel 😊 The Devon hedges have a plethora of wild flowers this spring.

I would like to add that I'm "not" surprised to read words by a well known Italian poetess.....I'm surprised that you know those words while in Italy those "peoples(sorry for this word)" belong to the past so they are no longer taught at school......When I studied at Lyceum many ya it was the same with Latin and Greek...classified as old languages...no useful for everyday life.....Welll today I must observe "stupid" and "bad"teachers!!!

I am fascinated with prose, poetry and lexicons from the rich literary past. It's a great thing to celebrate and be inspired by. A shame when such bits of verse are not shared with the next generations.

A most appropriate title Phil! I would probably have gone for 'Hogweed' or something equally simplistic! Lovely shot!

Thanks very much Paul 😊 The area has a particular charm about it in the spring and early summer especially. Many wobbly hills surround the hamlet with sunken green lane hollow-ways, conduits to wander into old landscapes.
