Like it but what is going on with its left wing shoulder area, seems out of focus to me

yep I see what you mean...the area around it is ok. The thrush had just come out of plant tray having had a bath, so I think it was settling its wing. It was taken through glass in patio door so that might have been it..
Should have picked it up though, sorry
