Witley Court

by johnriley

Today's trip to Whitley Court offered a few more opportunities to use the Q. This shot of the mansion was my favourite viewpoint for the day, showing part of the new garden layout in the foreground.

That is quite an impressive shot John, quintessentially English, quirky yet quietly impressive for a quick shot. Form a 'Q' for this camera!

On a serious note, this demonstrates the detail that the Q is capable of, excellent for a compact camera.

This is a lovely shot. Good enough to grace the pages of Country Life.
With more patience, practice and learning, I hope one day I will be able to take beautiful photos like this.

Great use of foreground to lead your eye into the picture and lovely detail. If I didn't know it was taken with the Q I'd have said it was a dslr!

Good compo & exposure despite the large amount of White in foreground.

Nice colours, well-chosen view angle. I like it.
