Was up the mountains today managed to catch this butterfly, no idea of it's name though.

Jack it's a SCARCE SWALLOWTAIL,(Iphiclides podalirius) and a lovely shot.

This is an amazing image, really beautiful and very well taken John, - well done, I wish I could go up the mountain and find something like this to photograph, all we have here is sheep and when you've seen one, Yes

How come you know what this is called Tel and you didn't know what your four legged friend was?

Because my wife Tracey has a book on British and European Butterflies and Moths, and what Jack/John has got is a mountain butterfly which mostly lives in Spain.
