Digger Dawn

Photo Information
Taken very early morning on the River Camel estuary outside Padstow, Cornwall 1st weekend in October.
Had gone down to Cornwall for a family holiday and very early was the only time I managed to get by myself so made the most of it by being out with the camera by 6am each morning

Nice silhouette. I see the ISO was 3200 - nice and clean image!

This is beautiful sunrise shot with modern architecture complementing it. Stunning shot and well worth getting up early for, sun rise photography is the only thing I get up early for without complaining.
Have you had to use any noise removal or is that how good the K5 is?

Great bold composition, for me one of contrast between a seemingly timeless location being invaded by the wheels of progress.

Would make a great construction magazine cover ...or the other contrast a conservation publicaton.

Hi David

The K5 handled noise pretty well at ISO 3200 but it has had a little noise reduction done in LR3 - and only a little - the original is pretty close

Great compo with the silhouette and the boat placed in the gap, well shot
