Hayne Down Lenticular
Dartmoor National Park
Awesome photo! Love the rolling horizon and that big sweeping cloud on the right. I am enjoying the white & blue sheep mimicking the white clouds in a blue sky...add in the earthy browns & greens and you have a delightfully colored photo with incredible subject matter!😄

Thank you ever so much for your encouraging feedback! So glad that you noticed the white and blue sheep's echoing of the sky's tones and shapes. I was smiling like a cheshire cat when I saw that potential in addition to the fascinating lenticular cloud. A wonderful moment to gaze upon a great sky in such a location

X 2, composed like a fine oil from the Paris Salon sales, mesmerizingly satiny and a touch haunting - thanks - t

Thanks very much Drobbia, Paris Salon... wow! Thank you ever so much! I am rather fond of the realist landscape paintings made by Peder Mørk Mønsted, maybe there was some subconscious influence

So nicely composed and taken, brilliant image, Phil.
Thank you ever so much Nezih! I was just in awe of that cloud, a wonderful and beguiling thing to see!

The cloud formation is certainly an important element in this shot. It's a beauty Phil.
Thanks very much indeed Paul. The white and blue sheep, the sweep of low-angle sunlit hillside, the dip in the hills below the lenticular base...
It all just seemed to work together at that very moment - to make something I found to be a quietly graceful way to respond to the sky, light and land before me.
