A test shot with the DA 55-300 taken on a February day. The long minimum focus with this lens makes 'close ups' difficult to take. Hence this was taken with the lens at full zoom.

When I first looked at this shot I rejected it as the Polyanthus flowers are not fully sharp. However, when I reviewed it recently I liked the mix of colours and thought the blurred background against the sharp foreground leaves enhanced it. But that's just MHO !
