It's a lovely image Stephani even if the hopper doesn't stand out that well.
Regards,
Ian.

PS. How do you find your DA15 - I'm contemplating buying one.

Hi Ian, as Paul points out, that's the beauty of protective coloring. You don't notice these tiny critters until they jump. Trying to get one in focus is quite a job!

The 15mm is a stunning lens, though I've used it less than the 35mm. I've only had my K7 and the 2 lenses for a month. Got the 15 for landscape and street photography, and neither are subjects in reach right now, wrong season for the kind of landscapes I like and city streets a long jaunt away. But the perfect time of year for multitudinous insects and blooms, so I've got the 35mm on the camera most days. Come fall it'll be the 15mm.

My 15 tended to "back focus" when I got it, but that was easily corrected in camera. I do like Pentax for giving me a way to calibrate a lens myself instead of having to send it back. (This option is under "adjust autofocus" in the manual's index.) Some people complain that the 15 is only f4 but so is the Sigma 10-20, the other lens I was considering for wide-angle. In the end I chose the Pentax prime. Hope this info helps. Let me know what you choose.

Thanks for all that Stephani. I was contemplating the DA15 for street photography principally.
Regards,
Ian.
