I liked the contrast between the young boy in the foreground and the older man, also the character in the man's face.

Thanks Ian, it was a street capture. I think the reason there is less detail in the hand is that there was a slight hand movement as I took the shot, hence minor motion blur. Not sure about the face.

Yeah, f8 has DOF covered but 1/80s allows some motion blur.

I do agree with Ian about the meaning conveyed only by the partial appearance of the child's head and hair. Very good mono shot, indeed!
