Tree Sparrow

These little chaps don't appear to be very common. This one obligingly sat on a log for some time and allowed me to get fairly close.

Sparrows seemed to have disappeared for a long time but in the last couple of years they seem to be making a come back!.

Nice capture David and a good pose from the bird.

Super shot David, very sharp, i have loads of house sparrows in my garden, but i've never even seen a tree sparrow.

Thanks to you all for your comments. I think this is maybe the first Tree Sparrow I have seen - it was taken local to wher I live to the South of Sheffield.
