Curlew and friends

Saw a couple of Curlews feeding with a large flock of Oyster catchers got the image as the whole flock - couple of hundred, were spooked as a helicopter came by.

You did really well Daron and the AF performed well to lock onto the Curlew amongst all that activity.
I notice a triad of 8's in the EXIF...1/800, f8.0, 800 ISO...you don't have any Chinese DNA do you...Don't the Chinese regard 888 as a very lucky number?

No I am definitely not Chinese though I have spent a lot of time there in recent years; but maybe I should use f8 - iso 800 - 1/800th more 🥹
