Nice one, Cliff.

Did it have a strong smell? If so it could be a member of the Allum family, such as garlic.

I`ll have to look this one up Howard, didn't get close enough to get a sniff as it was taken at range with the Tamrom (300mm)

Thanks chaps.
Cliff.

Cannot see the leaves, Cliff, but my guess is that this is the wild Garlic flower. Should have short broad leaves if it is.
Never got my 300mm to produce shots like this. You clever people make me feel so inadequate...but what the heck! We all have our abilities and it is great to be challenged.

Well Howard and Thoramay your guesses are correct the only thing I can find that resembles it is indeed Allium or wild garlic.

Thoramay, Was it the same one as I have the Tamron 70-300?.

Thank s all for the comments and input.
Cliff.
