Cragside

by PeterKR

Cragside (NT) near Morpeth, Northumberland.
Home of the Victorian inventor and industrialist Lord Armstrong.
An amazing building in an amazing setting.
A dull drizzly day so I was grateful for the WR of the Pentax kit !

Wonderful building and exhibit(s) - thoroughly recommended
Wet or not, you managed a nice shot of it
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

I'd love to go there for lots of reasons but it's such a long way north. Great shot. I particularly like the contrast between foliage and stone-work.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Many thanks to you all for the nice comments.

It was also a very long way for us, Andrew, but a week in Northumberland, taking in Alnwick and Holy Island as well, was worth the effort !

Thanks again
Peter
