Then the Cows Came to Drink Water

by nonur

The image was shot on the east bank of Lake Beysehir on the same day when these cows came to the edge to drink water. After they quenched their thirst they went back as they came.

Always tickles me to see cows by bodies of water. My basic experiences are of them on locked land, fields that go on for miles and miles. When I lived in Hawaii, I got my first glimpse of cows by large water masses...I will never forget the stun it was. This photo is reminiscent of that feeling. Nice take...thanks for the memories!

Really like how the cows line up with the respective line of boats on the shore line. Human figure is a bonus.
Cheers...Donna 😊

An interesting photograph well taken. It reminds me of a photo I have of cows that came towards us out of a mist. I will see if it stands up to being entered in the gallery. It was quite amusing the way they came to us. John
