The Old House at Meram I

Photo Information
This is one of the oldest remaining houses at Meram (a vicinity famous for its gardens and vinyards), Konya, Turkey. I had been looking for a better chance to take some photagraphs of it. Today, for the first time, I found that the door was open and saw someone chopping woods in the garden. After a small talk he was kind enough to give me permission and the information that it was bought by the Konya municipality to be restored (or renavated!!!). I only had my camera, the kit lens and the 100mm macro lenses with me. I thought it would be better to make a series here. (A crazy idea, perhaps!)If you bother, please view them large.

Interesting set of pictures Nonur but you've given us far to many to appreciate all at once. The series would have more impact if you edited it to a select few crucial images.

Thank you David, perhaps I was too excited, as it had been a long time desire to get into that house. I also thought it urgent to have them safe before the restoration of the municipality.
