The Ghost of Cotehele

by davidstorm

Now then, how many of you are believers in spirits from beyond the grave? This is a single image shot today at Cothele, a Medieval Manor House on the borders of Cornwall and Devon. I will let you decide and I would be interested in your views on this one!

Use of a Tripod and the EXIF data are perhaps a give away !!

Amazed that the NT allowed you to use a tripod inside one of their properties - is that a first ?? Grounds for eviction last time I tried.........!

Hi Nigel, I was a little surprised too. They made me leave my backpack behind, but had no objections to the tripod! This is indeed the first time I've ever used one in a NT property and it doesn't half make taking pics easier!

Definitely not added Maria, this is a single image with only adjustment to levels etc. and a bit of work with layers to bring out the colours.

Stridey and Puma were right though, the 8 second exposure gives the game away.

Best wishes

I am also - more surprised by the use ot a tripod in an NT property - than a ghost (as they are quite common)

Amazing what you can do in 8 seconds - two ghosts even!
