Thanks, the worrying thing is I remember these petrol prices!

There were 3 more old pumps there, alas I couldn't get a clear shot but I still might upload other image.

Yes, it took me back to schooldays and walking past pumps like this. I remember thinking how expensive the stuff was!
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

I've just calculated what 2/3d a gallon is equivalent to in pence per litre and it's 2.47p.

Fantastic image,both for its historical interest and also for its graphic quality. When petrol was that price what was the average weekly wge for a working man? Maybe a fiver a week?
