Rolling In

Photo Information
Massive storm clouds rolling in over a cornfield. I was so impressed by how the clouds looked like the ocean and waves in the sky.

Love it - but was the sky really that colour?

Cor! A real stunner. I'm firmly in the love camp!

I would personally have removed the tuft of yellow grass bottom left.... but the image is a real treat.

Best

Thanks all! 😄

Andy, I took artistic license here. The clouds were more of a blue grey.

Nigel, I can see what you mean about that little yellow tuft....oh, and LOL on the love camp referance! 😍

Very unusual / different! I really like this image, it doesn't matter whether or not the colours are true to life, it's just a great image.

Everything is being bowed over to the right - whether by the wind or not, it makes it work so well
Hadn't noticed the bit of yellow but he's right: it's annoying once you spot it !

Thanks, David(wozhere). I can't remember if the wind at the time was bowing over the corn stalks or if the field had been previously bent and damaged by an earlier storm. I do remember, however, the sky, clouds, light and atmosphere were extraordinarily dramatic!

Otherworldly, but I really like the colours and the colours and movement here. Sally
