How does one make a naf old gate & telegraph pole look so interesting?
This is the true photographers eye.

I try to capture this sort of 'feel' , but just bant crack it.
Best Regards, Larry.

Thanks both.

It was the sheer banality of the shot which attracted me. The ugliness of the landscape, the gates held together with bailer twine and that one telegraph. Even the tightly packed crop of maize is grim. The framing and harsh post-processing was designed to enhance the austere feeling.

Having a brilliant camera and lens helps, too!
Best wishes,

Andrew
