Fire & Metal

by davidstorm

Phew! This one took some effort! Set up the blowtorch with a copper pipe clamped into position, attached my trusty Takumar 135mm F3.5 and lit the blowtorch. For processing, reduced the brightness of the background and blurred everything except the pipe; hey presto!

I hope it was worth it.

P.S. The reason for going to all the effort is that my son is taking 'A' level photography and has chosen fire as his theme. I thought I would try to give him some ideas to shoot some things that are a little different.

Well done.

The focus is perfect and those subtle colours are wonderful.
