Haven't you finished for the summer yet? My son has his final engineering exam today in Bristol.
Best wishes,

Thanks, Andrew! This is the last week, and Wednesday will be the end of my teaching in the department. After the finals and the make-ups, I'll ask for my retirement. However, I might continue teaching at the conservatory a couple of hours a week next year.

Sorry! - I still like the photo with or without the arm! John

Thank you, Jees; it's very kind of you. I'll do my best.
And thank you all for the appreciation!

This is a fine portrait giving a good mix of resting energy and the feel of Degas's observations of the dancers' off stage lives. Modern dance in Konya? Good for them!
I went to a performance of 'Sultans of the Dance' in Ephesus theatre a long time ago. It was very professional and a memorable performance, great modern dance and wonderful lighting and effects in the fantastic old theatre and, of course, an appreciative and beautifully behaved local audience.
Best wishes,
David W
