Thanks very much for your kind comment Giulio😊 I was leading a photography walk for a group of A Level Photography students and we were definitely lucky to get those cirrus clouds softening the Midsummer's Day afternoon light 😁 Always a joy to be immersed in the coastal fringes of Start Point.

Really nice image Phil.

I notice that you are on a K-3? Given that you used a Kx for many a year like myself, how do you like the upgrade to K-3?

Regards

Karlo

Many thanks Karlo

I am really enjoying the K3 The details in the photographs are amazing, but that makes sense with the doubled resolution of megapixels I have found it to be pretty intuitive to learn the new controls and features - which is one of the delightful things about Pentax digital cameras!

Looking forward to being able to do time-lapses; using an external mic for video and at some point hopefully getting a 2nd hand GPS unit to be able to use the Astro-trace function. Having a cable release port for long exposures is something I have longed for a while. The two independent jog-wheels for Aperture control and exposure control is a great thing to have too. The Kx served me well, but it felt like time to make the switch to the K3. So far I am very impressed.

How have you found the upgrade to be for you Karlo?
