A Dickensian Eastgate Clock

An unusual take on Chester's famous Eastgate Clock; I wanted a very Victorian feel to it, to compliment the fact that the clock was a Diamond Jubilee celebration to Queen Victoria.
It is said to be the second most photographed clock in England after the clock tower housing Big Ben.
Taken with the K-5 and 18-55WR.

Thanks Chris. The excellent dynamic range of the K-5 helped immensely. For this shot I underexposed quite significantly as the clock face is very bright. I then (mainly) adjusted fill light and white balance to get to the desired shot. As you say, I wanted all the surfaces to be lit well, so a fairly long exposure helped the K-5 to pick out the detail despite it being under exposed. It gave more options for post processing.
