What a fantastic shot, full of atmosphere and mood. Have you tried this with blue instead of yellow light? That might be equally effective.
As it is this is a fine choice for Photo of the Week. well done.

I have been on holiday and didn't even realise that the photo had been chosen for POTW Thanks for all the kind comments - re David Trout, the colour was as shot, the stage lighting was strobing through various colours and white, I caught the green in a couple of frames.....
