Cat in Window

by davidstorm

The Butcher Works in Sheffield is a group of old industrial buildings enclosing a square, that were used for Steel Finishing and manufacture, probably cutlery and the like. They have now been nicely converted into apartments / offices, retaining much of their character, including in the centre of the square a massive brick chimney which I guess was for a furnace.

There are loads of buildings like this in and around Sheffield City Centre, it's well worth a wander if you have the opportunity.

The cat in the window was the 'icing on the cake'!

Fantastic detail in the brickwork, love the fact that the cat was happy to oblige too!
