Thanks a lot for the kind comments! I think the K10D+16-50 is a great combo for events where colour is in the air- literally!

Great fun photo, the colours are lovely, and the child's expression just right.

If you would be so kind, could you just elucidate why the 16-50mm is good? I've got the 18-55 and find it, quite frankly, lousy (unless it's just mine - fuzzy). Thinking of ditching it and replacing. Got a 50-200 and that's fine. On a K10D. Would just appreciate your thoughts...
