Tombs in the general cemetery, this one has a babies tomb ontop of this large tomb, the baby probably died from the plague.
lots of graves in this cemetery are dedicated to the steel workers from Sheffield. Taken on Sunday 8th Jan 2012, with my pentax k-x

Hi Stan, no this is all made from stone and the reflection is from another grave and just shining on the stone.Its a super place for photos also very peaceful and its one of my favourite places to take photos,noone is buried there anymore but it has a band of people that are friends of the cemetery that go along and tidy up, cut down weeds and high grass and generally look after the graves. They also have days out when you get a guided tour because there are Steel Magnets buried there that shaped Sheffield into the largest steel manufacture in the world, sadly not anymore.

Strong and "monumental" image, if you'll excuse the pun. I like converging verticals here, but the framing is, to my mind just a little "tight", Trixie.

You are getting a bit spooky lately Trixie! Nice shot of a very large looking tomb! I've taken a few Graveyard ones in the last few days - I might put one on tonight.

I like the fine details of the tomb, the great POV and the nice conversion. The use of vignette effect was a good idea, but it's too much for my taste.
