The Electrodes

The "Electrodes" with the "Portcullis" behind, Waipuna cave, Waitomo County, New Zealand

MX Pentax 25-50mm lens, Probably Ektachrome 200. Camera set to B with shutter open for about 10 minutes (good caving models can sit still for a very long time) lit be photographer walking around in the dark letting off about 20 flashes.

Taken sometime in the late 1980s.

I need to make a better scan.

Yes: at the moment it is too contrasty at the top.
been a member of Pentax Club since the Ron Spillman era! Got COMPUTERISED at last - DIGITISED? Taken the PLUNGE - BUT FILM STILL RULES !!!

I also seem to have a problem where pictures look more contrasty on this site than they do on my photo editing software. lol
Pete the caver, K10D, 2 MXs, SP1000 and lots of other old interesting cameras
