I love the feather light soft snow! It makes for the best macro photography ever!! I used my K70 and My all time favorite macro lens, the SMC Pentax-M Macro 50mm f4. This turned out beyond what I was expecting!

Yes, and this lens (which I also own and treasure above all others) is the right one for the job, retaining the detail even away from the centre of the shot. Like.

Definitely the right lens for the job - and no place for an autofocus ! You have caught the delicacy of this beautifully.

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
