The Cement Works at Dawn

Photo Information
A shot of the Hope Valley Cement Works, an iconic sight in the area, early morning on 28th December. This was before the haze & murk lifted, I thought the subdued light and cloud added a bit of drama. I've processed it intentionally dark.

Very atmospheric, I think that you way that you've presented it works really well.

Have you tried a B&W version?

Very nice again David... looks like you had a great outing... there's a timeless feel to this in particular... a sense of yesteryear...

Enigmatic. Like the tonal progression.

You have done a wonderful job with this one. It just oozes murkiness while retaining sufficient clarity to tell its story of wet, foggy coldness..
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

The atmosphere that you have captured makes this a great picture. I also think the light from the window is really powerful.
