Looks like a BSA Scout this one... four wheels rather than three.
Excellent modes of transport... but, on the three-wheelers, don't get two wheels up...[one front, one rear] and the drivers one lower... car turns over...
Another nice flaw in the design... central pedal is the accelerator... you can go very fast into an emergency accident!!
Never be afraid to talk about your techniques...

How nice to find someone who knows a bit about these rare cars. This was supposed to be a BSA rally but as there were so few they invited some other makes along as well. The setting was brilliant and photogenic despite the fact I had the "wrong" lens.

Andrew, I only know this because my best friend, Geoff, has five of the three wheelers... the one he turned over on the Peddars Way in Norfolk... which is the most regularly used... at least weekly... through a couple of v.early examples to the "project"... a Brooklands rolling chassis and engine that needs to be re-bodied... on the latter, the body was "slung under" the chassis to give a lower c.of.g... they used to compete against the Morgan three-wheelers... must have been a sight to see!! He's just retired... so the Brooklands might get a chance to see the road again!?

G. might even have been there with one of the cars you saw!
One rather nice last anecdote... he got to 86.45mph on the strip at Santa Pod on one occasion, during some sort of Vauxhall private event, before breaking a half shaft... he was trying for 90+ on his third run... but he was happy... the Morgan that happened to be there "only" got 85 something and never bettered it!! Seems the old rivalries still exist!!!
