Little Piece of Canada Like Europe?

Thanks so much, Maria.

Yes Oh Canada is beautiful, eh?

But it isn't rich in history like Europe, so finding scenes like this is difficult.

Where you folk will take shorelines and make them public pathways, we let developers build high-rise condominiums right on the water.

So greedy for tax $. So sad.

Thank you very much, John.

I walked about 3 km this morning and took 53 shots of just stuff.

This is the only shot where I stopped, studied, measured and enjoyed myself.

Sometimes when I look through the viewfinder at a little piece of the world like this, I can block out all the other nonsense and relax.

... and this is what photography means to me.

Lovely shot Mac, it shows just how well the old lenses still work. Such beautiful depth to the colours, well spotted and captured.
