Not Amsterdam

Essex House, on the main drag in Cambridge, is a harmless confectionary & patisserie. Careful positioning of the lamppost gives an altogether different impression.

All those bicycles indicate the shop is doing a landslide business and the furtive teen nervously waiting his turn , buns in the window (secret code for shops purpose?)--- are you sure it wasn't a sex shop in disguise?-- nice street shot and lots of fun for the dirty minded. -- thanks tg

When I saw the title I thought not Cambridge either, thought it was taken in some backwater somewhere. How wrong was I.
A very sharp interesting take

I suppose that jokey images of public notices is a photographic genre. Further down this road there is a bus stop next to a big commercial building named JANUS HOUSE. A friend once photographed the po-faced people at the bus stop, next to the building's front, after some joker had removed the letter "J".

Thanks for the comments!
