The village of Å in the Lofoten Islands, Norway is famous for its brightly coloured fisherman's huts. But just outside the village is a small lake which hemmed in by tall mountains. On this day we had unusually calm weather but an approaching storm in the distance heralded the approach of exceptional winds and rain

Stunningly beautiful, it looks reminiscent of the English Lake District, but more mountainous.

I have photos from our treks and photography visits in ireland, faroes, Iceland, Norway, Swedish Lapland, Greenland, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Georgia (country!), the alps, Patagonia, Southern Africa, Pyrenees, Cornwall, Wales, India, Nepal, Cambodia, Oman etc. many are on my Instagram page and website but if there’s interest then I can upload some to pentaxuser.com gallery. We’re starting to run commercial photo tours and I don’t want to seen as pushing my tours. But if it’s ok then I’ll upload some more pics over the coming days
