Thanks very much Giulio It's a river with bountiful opportunities for making photographs for many miles of it's course.

Many Thanks David, The limestone and shale of the Alpine Variscan mountains may have worn away to leave just high granite moorland, but the ice and water over the aeons has carved a beguiling landscape. To gaze upon the current moment and consider the deep-time over which it was sculpted, is what draws me back again and again.

Many thanks indeed It was made during a one-to-one workshop I ran recently. I don't make any pictures for my own aims on my workshops unless asked to do so. I was however asked to show how I "would go about choosing, setting up and making and image in this area", so I obliged! I
