4th of Advent in Macrotistan

4th of Advent in Macrotistan

Photo Information
Not sure if Advent is celebrated in England as it is in Germany - here we have 4 candles that were lighted one after the other in the 4 Sundays bevor Christmas.
When I was testing my new Macro shortly before Christmas in a green house, I realized, that one blooming plant looked very much like these 4 burned Advent Candles.
The picture is actually upside down, but I thought this is OK to turn it 180°.

Another thing - I just launched my own website. It is currently in DE only, but as soon as I found out, how to create a bi-lingual page, I will add an EN version (but there is not so much text and it is easy to read. The page is still under construction and the Galleries still need uploads (each Gallery should contain 12 images - especially the color galleries are still incomplete. You find it under
http://www.axel-luther.com/ and I will present my most recent projects in the Folder "Projekte" - so if you are facing a rainy Sunday, I would love to incite you to a short visit

Well we used to celebrate it when we lived in Germany. They do look like advent candles - well spotted. The shot fits the festive season very well.

Great vision Axel. Just checked out the website. Unfortunately, some of the photos fail to enlarge but a great selection nevertheless.
