Shield Bug

by Photon

I have yet to learn how to a void this horrible black unexposed background, when macro photographing of close subjects with a ring flash. On a different occasion I tried using an additional flash gun mounted on a bar attached to the camera base and directed towards the background foliage but it proved too unwieldy.

Thank you for viewing and for your comments.

Sad, apart from the occasional house spider, I shall have to wait till spring for the opportunity to attempt further insect shots!
