Caldecotte Arms

by Lucky Lee

This is the Caldecotte Arms, a pub in Milton Keynes next to the A5.

I used my K200D with Sigma f2.8 18-50mm lens at f11 for 30 seconds.

That worked rather well. My aging eyes say that it could use a slight rotation to the right.

A very pleasing image, well taken I must say the horizon looks fine to me, though I haven't started on the wine yet

It looks really good. I like the many shades of the deep blue colour. Well done.

Pianoman: Glad you like it.

Paul: I know it looks like the horizon looks slightly off but the ground on the left actually rises; it doesn't look it in the photo but in the daylight you'd see it.

Sandinista: Don't have too much of the wine!!

Gábor: Thank you. I, too, like the blue.

Giulio57: Thank you. I've seen this pub nearly every day for about 20 years and each time I say to myself "I must photograph that soon"!
