Bath Time Again

by pgweber

Another photo of the two "Black Fives" hauling a charter train last Sunday, this time earlier in the day as they approached Grindleford.

The photo title refers again to the name of the train, "The Tin Bath" (because it passes through 'Last of the Summer Wine' country).

I was in the train not long ago - the photo compliments the fantastic noise these two make.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thanks also to Neil and the two Davids for their appreciation.

I saw the train in four places; At Grindleford (as above), in Sheffield station, in Attercliffe (previous posting) and passing through Meadowhall (early, Neil!) just after the preceding service train.

Unfortunately the AF on my DA35 let me down at the last location.

The most exciting location was the first, as they were working back up to speed after the Hathersage station call and were indeed making a fine racket!
