Black Clough

by Northgrain

Not had much time for photography recently, but grabbed half an hour here last week whilst out working. I've had my eye on this location for a while, and although not totally happy with this (comp. needs some attention, amongst other things :wink it's a start . Think I'll be going back.

I'm not a big fan of long exposure running water photos but I like this one. The water is realistic and not too smooth, but its the background that gives depth to the whole image.

A dynamic journey through this image and the water is silky without looking over done - the details and contrasting tones and natural textures work very well

The water's so beautifully rendered.
Best wishes,
