A Jumble of Stones

Another one shot at Derwent Edge last weekend. I am amazed how much detail in a landscape the K-5IIs can capture; there's been a lot of discussion and argument over the merits of the IIs versus a standard K-5, but after taking my IIs on my first proper landscape shoot it is streets ahead of my K-5 and can easily highlight weaknesses in my lenses.

This one is with the Samsung D-Xenon 12-24 F4, a great lens, really sharp, but noticeably softer around the edges. Take a look at the full size version of this shot on my Flickr photostream to see it in full resolution.

Interesting to note that you can see the difference without the low-pass filter!
