RHS Bridgewater, Before.....

by johnriley

It is right on our doorstop, so when RHS Bridgewater, billed as being in Salford, but really in Worsley, finally opens next May it will be a fantastic place to visit. A very valuable addition to my choices for sample images for lens reviews. However, we have visted the site for many years, so here's a picture of one of the original glasshouses in a shocking state of neglect. This was very sad to see, but the upside of dereliction is always that it makes for some fantatic photographic opportunities.

I'd love a glasshouse like that.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
