Is your giving birds the crumbs a way of enticing them down to have their photograph taken? Then your perfect recipe has to be the reason the blackbird is ignoring the red berries in one of your previous photographs

thank you so much, I only give the birds a few crumbs to go with the seeds and other bits and bobs, yes the blackbird doesn't look interested in the red berries, but he was really, he was nipping in and out of the bushes with the berries.

This reminds me of my Mother's soda bread, it was delicious! and i'll never forget the smell when i came home from school, thanks for the memory Trixie even though it isn't soda bread

thank you Maria, it is black olive, sundried toms and wholemeal and white flour with a tiny sprinkle of olive oil, I love to make this loaf and I makde soda bread too.
