Wow, a fabulous image Gary, but it is very cynical! I've been married for nearly 25 years and I must say it is one of the best things I have ever done!

I love my wife dearly and the reality for us is very different to the implication of your image. I'm sure others will have had very contrasting experiences and if nothing else the picture will be thought provoking.

Thank you for sharing with us.

Thanks David- I am very pleased to hear that everything worked out well for you. It's our Ruby wedding anniversary this year so everything has gone OK for us! Sadly that is not the case for many other relationships.
Cheers,
Gary

Great compo and great use of light. I like this bouquet that escapes from darkness....It looks like to burn of its own light.....like a moon....

Looking beyond any implied cynicism I see a wonderful image! Hope you're still a Pentaxian Gary?

Thank you all for your comments- having a distinct leaning towards the vanitas style of still life photography influenced the mood of this one. I don't know why the Exif is not showing- anyway, K-5 (still have) with 35mm ltd macro ( now sold to help with bills!). Back to my trusty A 50mm 1.7.
Cheers,
Gary

Cynical or not it's a classy image Gary, artistically executed as always.
