Photo Information
Taken today 16th April in Botanical gardens, weather a bit dull so set the camera to aperture priority, and just cropped a bit to the left out that was brown and dull.

Think they are part of the Rhododendron family but I could be wrong, do you know what they are?

Thank you to both you and Micheal, I'm dreaming about photography now, haha my

Nice DOF on this Trixie and good focus, I think this is worth viewing large to get the full benefit. I hope you don't mind me suggesting but I think a touch of levels adjustment would just lift the image a bit.

Jim is right, worth seeing large. Could be a kind of Rhododendron. I like this filling the frame.

Trixie. Did you take more than one shot of this flower?
A Club judge one told me that a beautiful flower will always give you a lovely picture. But sit and watch the light and how it changes the mood of the flower and how the changing shadows reveal its intimate detail. I am wondering if a lower angle would have captured those open flowers at the bottom of the shot, but, you have captured its beauty and have cropped the shot perfectly.
regards thoramay.
