I'm curious ,why did you use portrait mode, I've never considered using the modes, it a very clear picture. Am I missing something with modes.

Your right it would make the picture much cleaner. Initially I cropped the image which was shot in landscape to omit the tail of a display aircraft, but still wanted to give the picture a fees that the F15 is close to the ground. However looking at it again I agree it would have been better to crop the lower section as well.
