Sylvan sojourn

Sylvan sojourn

Photo Information
“These woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.”

(Robert Frost)

Golden-hour evening light diffusing through the canopy of oaks and beeches in the ancient Dendle's Wood National Nature Reserve in Dartmoor National Park.

More information and thoughts on this nature reserve here in my blog

Thanks Stewart - getting rather dissapointed by the amount spamming happens on anything I post on here and in the 'comments' bit of my foliopic site (at least I can delete them before they end up 'live' on my site!)

Thanks Stewart - the Zone system works a treat and there seem to be less occasions now whene I need to use HDR; split-Raw pseudo HDR and exposure fusion techniques.... this one being a split-RAW pseudo-HDR execption due to the light breeze and very bright tree canopy adding constraints to my methods
